Individual Membership of the Association by many of Cambridgeshire's enthusiastic local, social and family historians has brought a wide diversity and range of interests to the Association and the Cambridgeshire Association for Local History is also always willing to help our Individual, Family, and Corporate members with local & family history enquiries & indeed any society issues and if we cannot help you directly, we are normally always able to send you to someone who can help.

Our individual and family members can attend our lectures for free, while members attending from our corporate societies will be asked to pay just £1 each. Guests and non-members interested in local, social and family history are more than welcome to attend, for an entrance fee of £2.50 per lecture.

We hold monthly lectures usually in Cambridge, from October to May.  Speakers at our monthly meetings cover a wide range of subjects.

In April, we hold our Annual Conference and in June, we hold our annual Gathering and history awards; both of these are held in an outlying Cambridgeshire village or town.

In the summer months, we arrange an extensive range of excursions and visits to place of historical interest both locally and further afield.

Joint Membership: is the same as the above and applies to any two members living at same address; who will share one set of association publicity, news, will receive one copy of the Review, the Preview, Speakers List and the Bulletin or any other paperwork at each mail out.

Corporate Membership of the Association by Cambridgeshire's

local, family & social history clubs and societies or any other

organisation with similar aims and objectives is strongly

encouraged. The more united the Cambridgeshire history

community is, the more chance we have of effecting change

and guaranteeing the future provision of research, archives

and local studies facilities in the county.

The benefits of all classes of membership are wide ranging:
